Vote for Cedar Grove in the WTOP Contest

The voting window for the Click for Kids Contest is now open! The link can be found here: http://wtop.com/contests/2017-click-for-kids-voting/

WTOP Radio is launching a Click for Kids Contest that supports schools by offering $30,000 in prices. The school with the most votes will win the grand prize of $15,000, the school with the second most votes will win the first place prize of $10,000, and the school with third most votes will win the second place prize of $5,000. The three schools that win are based simply on the number of votes received during the voting period. All you have to do is vote! Cedar Grove would use this prize money towards our STEM education to support student learning in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics.

Voting begins today and goes through 5 pm on Friday, March 17th.  You may vote once per day within a 24 hour period and you must be 13 or older to participate.  Winners will be announced Monday, March 20th.

Voting is open to anyone – you don’t have to live in the area.  But it is restricted to one vote per 24 hour period per person.

Please ask your friends, family, and neighbors to vote for Cedar Grove by sharing the link or you can simply refer people to wtop.com and search the word “kids”.  Please vote once per day!

The Read-a-Thon is coming!
Beginning March 3rd, your child is being challenged to read at least 15 minutes a day for 14 days. They will keep track of their minutes daily, and work with every other child to reach reach a school goal of 275,000 minutes combined!
There will be prizes awarded and lots of fun to be had! The best part is this is all for FUN!! It is not a fundraiser.
